Our mobile bar hire is built around one thing: a meticulously restored Rice horsebox in reclaimed timber and blackened steel, fully self-sufficient with running water, warm amber lighting and a proper back bar. It arrives as a centrepiece and leaves without a trace. Everything else — the cocktail menu, the glassware, the bartenders, the licensing — is built around it.
We pour craft cocktails, curated wines and small-batch spirits, and we scale the team to your guest count so nobody queues. How it works

How much does mobile bar hire cost in the UK?
Cost depends on guest numbers, hire length, and whether the bar is complimentary against a minimum spend, paid hire, dry hire or profit share. We quote every event individually — send us your date, venue and guest count and you'll have a transparent, itemised quote within 24 hours.
What's the difference between dry hire and staffed bar hire?
Staffed hire means we bring the horsebox, the stock, the glassware and our bartenders and run the bar for you. Dry hire means you hire the bar itself (and optionally our team) while supplying your own drinks — ideal for venues that require you to use their alcohol licence.
How far do you travel?
We're UK-wide. Travel within 30 miles of base is included in every quote; beyond that we add a clear, agreed travel figure rather than a surprise surcharge.
Do you supply your own alcohol licence?
Yes. For staffed hire we hold the relevant premises/TEN arrangements and personal licence cover, and we'll advise you on what your venue needs. For dry hire, licensing sits with you or your venue and we'll walk you through it.
How long does setup take?
The horsebox is self-sufficient and typically set, styled and pouring within 90 minutes of arrival. Breakdown and collection are included.
Can you cover the rest of the event too?
Yes — sound, lighting, marquee letters, staging and event styling are all in-house. Bundling the bar with another Lunar service usually saves you money against booking five separate suppliers.
